To register for a paid workshop, two steps must happen: (1) the payment transaction has to occur and (2) the learner’s account has to be given access to the paywalled workshop page. When registering an account (one’s own or another’s) by clicking “Register” on the workshop’s information page, both of these steps occur automatically and instantly.

However, it is possible to separate these two steps if necessary, which can be helpful when multiple learners from the same organization want to register for the same workshop or combination of workshops using a single payment transaction; we can even offer a bonus discount when registering three or more learners at once!

The process to pay by invoice is as follows:

1. The learner or payer requests an invoice (see below).

2. SMaRT Workshops sends an invoice to the payer.

3. The payer pays the invoice as described in the email.

4. SMaRT Workshops sends discount codes to the learner(s) that will allow them to register for free.

5. The learners register using the discount codes to gain access to the paywalled workshop pages.
